Arrival & Boarding

We recommend arriving a day before the cruise starts to enjoy the island’s attractions and settle into the boat. Cruise participants can occupy their cabins from the afternoon before the departure date. We’re happy to arrange a taxi pickup from the airport upon request.

Cruising Experience

Each day features several hours of sailing, followed by docking at a marina (extra cost) or anchoring in a scenic bay overnight. One leg of the cruise may include night navigation, offering a unique adventure. Discover less-frequented islands, with opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun after a day on the water.

Accommodation

Participants will either share provisioning responsibilities or bring their own food. Additional expenses include fuel (for the boat and tender), customs and immigration fees, airport transportation, tours, and special activities.

Sailing Participant Requirements

  • Reasonable fitness for moving around the boat and participating in handling tasks

  • Good general health, as medical facilities may be several hours away

  • Signed release of indemnity and agreement to adhere to safety guidelines and skipper instructions

Conditions

  • Schedules are weather-dependent and may be canceled, changed, or postponed at the captain’s

  • sole discretion without refunds or replacements.

  • In the event of force majeure cancellations, refunds cannot be provided.

Racing

Scheduling

Crew members will benefit by arriving three days before the start of every regatta to allow for training and to enjoy the island’s attractions.

On a race day, the boat departs for 5-6 hours of racing, returning in the afternoon. Ashore there are lively parties, concerts, and a wide choice of restaurants.

Transportation

All costs of transportation to/from the dock, island tours, or special activities, meals and any other extras are the individual responsibility of each crew member.

Accommodations

On a first come, first serve basis, two cabins on VOILACTUS and 4 cabins in IVOIRE may be available. Once these are booked, crew members may need to find accommodation ashore. Accommodation on the boat is $80/day for the cabins on Ivoire and the larger cabin in VOILACTUS & $50/day for VOILACTUS' each rear double cabin. These are prices per cabin, crew members may share a cabin without paying extra. Persons staying on board will be charged for the cabin usage for each night of your stay, including training and shore days. Those who need or choose to find lodging ashore, have a wide range of properties available for rent, from luxurious hotels or villas, to private houses or apartments. AirBnB, VRBO, and Booking.com are useful web sites. We'll assist in doing car or lodging bookings at no extra cost.

Meals

We recommend that every crew member bring with them something for lunch (ideally a sandwich, fruit or something easy to grab while working hard). Dinners are the responsibility of each crew member.  A wide choice of restaurants is available at every regatta site.

Pricing

For the 2026 season we are offering the following rates, for every regatta:

We offer a slot at the regattas at the low price of only $750.

RETURNING RACERS

For those who have raced with us before, it's only $500.

YOUTH SAILORS

We want young people to feel the excitement of ocean sailing, so we are offering sailors from 14 to 21 years of age the chance to sail at half of the published prices, when accompanied by an adult!

BRING A FRIEND

And we have additional discounts too: Bring a pal with you, and you'll get 10% off both slots, or put together a team of 3 or more and get a 20% discount of every member's fee, or better still, book the entire boat, at a very special rate.

These racing fees include coaching, 2 additional days of training time, regatta registration, water, beer, and engine fuel. All other expenses including accommodation are additional costs for the crew member.

Payment terms are 50% with booking,  and the balance 30 days before the first sailing day.

Participant Requirements

All crew members must be in good physical condition, capable of moving swiftly and efficiently around the boat, and able to operate the various boat equipment, which may require moderate strength and stamina. Due to the vessel’s potential distance from medical facilities—sometimes several hours away—it is vital that each crew member is in overall good health to ensure their own safety, as well as the effective and smooth operation of the boat.

Additionally, every crew member must sign a release of indemnity and agree in writing to strictly adhere to all safety protocols, instructions, and commands provided by the skipper. Compliance with these guidelines is essential for maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone on board.

Regatta Conditions

All regatta events are subject to changing weather conditions and may be modified, postponed, or cancelled at the sole discretion of the event organizers. In such cases, no refunds or replacements will be provided. Should Force Majeure events (such as extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances) force the cancellation of regattas, no refunds will be issued.
